Afraid of Soy?

Perhaps you’ve heard that its health food that should be consumed regularly, even supplemented. Or maybe you’ve heard others say it’s dangerous and should be limited. Soy products are remarkably versatile, with many manufacturers finding ways to turn them into soymilk, veggie burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, yogurt – you name it!  Because soy protein products are so widely consumed, some people have questioned, is soy safe? Are you ready to make a difference in this world?

Are you ready to make a difference in this world? Well, you had better hurry. The world is in a race against time. Environmentalists have agreed our planet may not have much time to go if global warming continues at its pace. In addition, if global warming doesn't kill us, we may kill ourselves long before the ozone is completely gone. Fighting and tension, wars and disagreements between nations, still remain a threat against all life on this planet. And our dietary choices are so…

Vegan Food Choices That Can Win Over Relatives At Holiday Time

As featured on OneGreenPlanet.org and VeggieBrothers.com

I recently called a friend to ask how his Thanksgiving was.  He is a pretty healthy guy who practices a vegan diet and recently has been leaning towards raw foods.  He told me that his Thanksgiving was fine and…

Thinking about G Living

Well, it's definitely been a minute, since I have even sat down to think about what is next for G Living.  To tell you the truth, I just needed a break. My life was completely overwhelmed with running G Living for a long long time and I needed a little distance.

And you know what, it worked.  I feel great.  My life is balanced now.  I have love, family and I feel creative again. Excited again about the possibilities.

I think I am ready to jump back in and…

Wild Mushroom Crepes with French Herbs

Happy Go Lucky Vegan - you're going to love these French inspired Crepes with Wild Mushrooms and Herbes de Provences! I created them when I returned back from my honeymoon in France.  Making these warm crepes stuffed with delicately seasoned mushrooms was a lot easier than beaming myself back to Paris! Raw, Gluten Free Cookies, Brownies, Treats

I am so excited because I finally found a source for truly gluten free hulless oats. Since I sprout, dehydrate and grind my own flour, I wanted to be able to offer a truly gluten free snack. The oats are certainly more costly, but well worth it to be able to offer completely gluten free goodies...

Sister

Well, today is the day my sister died dramatically 11 years ago.  It is still very fresh in my mind and I miss her every day.  However, instead of going to the market and drowning myself in deserts, I have decided to go get some physical activity by hitting some golf balls at the range.  I am one of those stress eaters that when things get tough I start to stuff.  Trying to change that.  I have two beautiful children and I do not want them to develop the unhealthy habits I have.  Going to…

raw vegan chocolate cookies

OMG, I just stuffed my face with warm chocolate cookies!! They smell soooo good and they are all soft and creamy. I promised myself "I'll just have one to make sure they taste ok"... Three (rather large) cookies later and I'm to distract myself from stealing a fourth by blogging. Argh! They're not…

What type of Dehydrator?

Does anyone have advice on what brand or type of dehydrator I should buy?  They seem expensive.  I want to buy a quality item that will last if I have to spend over $100.
