Beautiful day at a Mt Martha farm / Lucy's world

After two hours of pressing "snooze" on my IPhone, I finally realized I needed to get up, get going and find a nursery at which to buy an organic lemon tree. I wanted to find this for Lucy Stegley (aka SmoothieGirl), who kindly invited me to lunch at her family farm in Mt Martha, Victoria. After geting lost numerous times along the way and having to ask multiple strangers for directions, I finally made it!! Albeit with potted carnations instead of the… Continue

Lemon Curd with Golden Sesame Seed Crust

I am finally catching up with the wintry warm desserts to satisfy my North American and European readers starting with Lemon Curd withGolden Sesame Seed Crust. This is a wickedly rich dessert with a variety of nuts, seeds, nut butter and honey. It has a tangy nutty flavor with a creamy melt-in-the-mouth texture. Though it does not take a lot of time to make it, it does take a little time to set. But trust me, though, it is certainly worth the… Continue

Creamy "Tortilla Soup" with Cornbread

When you make this dish, don`t let your past experiences influence you and forget altogether the idea of traditional Creamy "Tortilla Soup" with Cornbread. Be open to a new tasty "raw" version! In fact you know what? When Rebecca from Purely Delicious Magazine asked me to make this dish, I asked myself, why I had never made nor ate Creamy "Tortilla Soup" with Cornbread in my life. So the first
thing I did was to go to a Mexican restaurant to try the… Continue

Creamy Mushroom & Spinach Pot Pie

Creamy Mushroom & Spinach Pot Pie... but I bet nothing like your everyday pot pie? A great Fall dish on a fallish sunny afternoon with some great company of friends... Old school for sure, and love it. Even though it is titled ‘creamy’ it is still light, yet meaty textured with lovely aromas and flavors. You can have this dish as an entree by having only one pot to yourself, or making it into a main dish by having two... I also left the spinach at… Continue

Pears “Pouched” in Beetroot Juice

With their elegant contoured shape, pears are an attractive dessert. Make a “poaching” liquid from beetroot juice, which lends the flesh of the fruit its deep ruby color, and add orange rind, vanilla bean, cinnamon stick, a whole clove, and a star anise for more aroma. After “poaching”, leave the pears in the liquid overnight (or for a few days), and the fruit will keep getting darker and fuller flavored.…

About Me:
I love Raw Food and Natural Health. I work mostly as a private Chef, around Tokyo (Kanto area) and Osaka (Kansai area) Japan. I am part of small community and we have a website that it is all about the Art of Raw Food and Healthy Living:

Tried.Tasted.Served Mission Statement

Our mission is simple, clear and straightforward – we want to bring the most accurate, well-researched and factual information about Raw and Living Food and Sustainable Living. We also want to bring the latest scientific research on foods, cutting-edge health trends, health conditions, and health related products. Knowledge is power. We want to make this knowledge more accessible to you and bring it to you in simple, easy to understand words, so that you can take control of your life and walk into the future towards a healthier and happier you.

Our Philosophy

Raw, Living Food, Sustainable Living and giving back to the community to helping those who are in need are what we believe go hand-in-hand. If every single person can contribute to the development of the community we live in or we feel committed to and give back according to the need, or our resources, or what we feel is appropriate at that particular time, our world would be a more beautiful, peaceful, healthy and happy place. We can do this through sharing our invaluable time, knowledge and/or finances with the community.

At TTS, we also want to give back to the community to make it a better, brighter, happier, and healthier place for all of us to live in. Our goal is holistic and generous. And this we do by sharing our knowledge, our time and our finances - sharing the knowledge and information that we learnt about food, health, fitness, sustainability, and spirituality in our journey in life, investing and sharing our time in a cause we truly believe in (creating a better world on every level) and to make a positive difference in the world we live in, and also we contribute financially to people who are less fortunate by giving 10% of all the sales of our E-book products to an organization called TTS Bali Project.

Sponsored By T.T.S.

TTS Bali project is an organization that is committed to help educate children and their families in the beautiful, but poverty-stricken, tropical island of Bali, and is sponsored by Tried.Tested.Served website. At TTS, we believe in sharing our resources and helping those who are less fortunate. And we are also committed to work towards educating, encouraging, supporting, sponsoring, and uplifting young children (and their families) from Bali so that they can grow up to have a better and brighter future. This is a small step towards making a positive difference in this world and making it a better place to live in.

You can read more about this project in our TTS Bali Project

Sincerely yours
