This is my first week of being completely vegetarian! I'm so proud of myself- I haven't made it completely vegan but I'm getting there. After watching Food, Inc., I have a hard time eating chicken or cows now. Pork was never on my hot list anyway. I spent the last week with my family in Arizona. My grandmother lives out in the middle of nowhere but it's absolutely beautiful. She has rabbits running around her front yard and quail and roadrunners!! The heat of the Arizona sun totally sucks you in and you can't help but feel healthier.However, my grandmother has Khron's disease (she has been told that she cannot eat fresh fruits and vege's)and I had a very difficult time being raw and vegan while I was there. Leek Soup Recipe
