Welcome to the most exciting Game G Living has ever hosted. In this game, you will be competing for the Title: YOU'RE THE FREAKIN MONKIE and "G" prizes which could total up to $3940, if you complete each level of the game.
The idea behind the game is simple. Every person who signs up for a new G Living Member account or already has a G Living Member account wins a copy of G Living's new digital book called MONKIEISMS. 200 copies of the Book Monkieisms will have a golden ticket inside one of the pages. If you receive a book with a golden ticket, you will win an additional prize worth $60 dollars.
To win the Title YOU'RE THE FREAKIN MONKIE and All The Prizes Worth $3940, you will need to become a very very popular monkie, leading your own G Living Members Group (a virtual room basically within glivingmembers.com). Basically you will start a group, picking a subject matter which fits the topics we cover on the Main gliving.com site. If we cover it, you can create a group about it. For example, if you want to create a group about G Fashion, just come up with a catchy title, and start building out your new G Fashion group. Once it's looking good, go out and invite people to join in. The more people who join your group, the more you can win. G Living members can join multiple groups.
You will have about 8 weeks to build your groups, promote them and interact with your members. On October 4th 10 a.m. pacific time the game will end. The winner will be chosen from the group who reached the highest number of members. If there are multiple groups who have reached the same level of members, a panel of judges will determine the winner based on quality of content within the group, level of interaction with members, quality of the discussion and most importantly, how much out reach promotion did the group perform. So, the better over all the quality and interaction your group has, and more you tell people about G Living , the better the odds you will be the winner.
The winner will be announced on Oct 11th.
Our goal with this game is to spread the news about G Living. If you have media contacts, magazine contacts or a big Facebook, Twitter following, let them know about the game and how cool it is to be "G"!
Step by Step Instructions.
To play the game, sign up for G Living Members if you are not already a member.
1. Once inside G Living Members, setup your personal page, add a photo of yourself and tell us a little about who you are.
2. Next click the 4th button in the top navigation called GROUPS.
3. On the Groups Page click the +Add A Group text link on the right side of the page. It's a blue link
4. Come up with a group title which reflects the type of content you will be creating for your group. Example ( The It Girls - G Fashion)
5. Fill out the complete Group form and click the ADD GROUP button at the bottom of the page.
6. After you hit Add Group, a G Living admin will be notified and if everything was done correctly and your topic is "G" , the admin will approve your group and you will see it go live on the site. You will also receive an email notifying you that your group was approved.
7. Open up your new group and start filling in some starter content. Maybe start a discussion, add a post or add some photos.
8. Start promoting your group to everyone you know. To help you inform your friends about your new group, we have setup easy to use mail invite form. Just click on the +Invite More People Link at the top of your group page. This form gives your friends a direct link to your group.
9. Now for the 8 weeks, promote your group and continue to improve its content. Get your friends to help you out by interacting with your group.
10. On Oct 4, the Group with the most members, best content, most interaction with it's members and G Living members, will win the entire game and be giving the title: YOUR THE FREAKIN MONKIE!
